The Metropolis is Muse in The Urban Tarot. This Tarot homage to New York City unveils the glitter and the grit of the Big Apple. Realistic New Yorkers carry the Tarot roles, and aptly chosen New York landmarks provide the scenery in this deck. Illustrator and designer Robin Scott used photographs as springboards for her vivid, dynamic, and thoroughly modern cards. An impressive achievement, this deck reads like an occultist’s dream. Gently influenced by Thoth, with an emphasis on the four elements, The Urban Tarot illuminates both the beauty and the squalor of America’s largest city.
