Talon is a fast, native chat client for Urbit. Sign in with your ship and get the full daily-use chat loop: direct messages, group channels, threads, and reactions — with none of your data passing through anyone else's servers.
Your ship is your server. Talon connects your device directly to the Urbit ship you control, so your messages, your contacts, and your history stay yours. No accounts to create, no middlemen, no analytics, no tracking.
FEATURES
• Direct messages, group DMs, and group channels
• Threads, reactions, edits, and deletes
• Image and file attachments with a fullscreen viewer and pinch-to-zoom
• Link previews, location and calendar tags
• Multiple ships — switch between them in one tap
• Delivery indicators so a silently failing send is always visible
• Per-chat mute and folder organization
• Dark, light, and system themes
• Optional, off-by-default AI catch-up summaries — bring your own API key; nothing is sent anywhere unless you turn it on
