UNDERSTAND NARRATIVES, NOT JUST NEWS
Same story. Different narratives.
Track how stories are being told across sources, as they unfold.
When a story breaks, different outlets notice different things. Some lead with data, others with human impact. Some move fast, others dig deep.
Stay informed not just about what happened, but how it's being framed.
SUPPORT YOUR MEDIA LITERACY
Bias is bad. Perspectives are good.
On Symby, you’ll see established outlets and newcomers, careful reporting and attention-grabbing headlines, perspectives you'll agree with and ones you won't.
You'll see sources you know and trust. And ones you don't. That’s the point.
Not because all sources are equal, but because knowing what narratives are out there is how you stay ahead of them.
Compare sources side-by-side and see their editorial angle before you read.
If you’re looking to understand the whole picture and get an unbiased look at today’s top stories, Symby was built to show you balanced perspectives from all angles, supporting media literacy and critical thinking.
ACTUALLY READ THE NEWS
We don't use AI-generated summaries.
We use AI to surface a wide range of perspectives, grouping and sorting related stories or topics together, with the aim of making it easier for you to triangulate information across balanced coverage, getting you closer to an unbiased news experience.
We want to help you discover the human voices writing the news and shaping narratives.
THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING
You already think critically. You’re curious by nature and want to dig deeper. You already know the news is shaped by narratives, not just facts.
We're building Symby for people like you, because the world needs more of you, and you deserve tools that make it easier to think critically, spot media narratives, and see the full picture.
We're excited to share this early version of Symby, that you can try out for your daily news. Keep testing and stay tuned as we deliver updates and new features.
Please send us your feedback and ideas, because we're just getting started.
Thank you for joining us on this journey.
