Sangatkaar is a practice companion for Hindustani classical music: tanpura, tabla and swarmandal, tuned and played together.
TANPURA
Two independent tanpuras, each with its own strings, pan, tone and level. Set your Sa and fine-tune in cents. Just intonation, from real recordings — not synthesis.
TABLA
26 taals across 33 selectable patterns, with theka and variations authored for each tempo band. Its own tempo clock, tap tempo, Sur Tabla, and manjira on Bhajan and Dhumali. Change taal or tempo mid-cycle and it stays seamless.
SWARMANDAL
Two 24-note sequences you build yourself, played back as an arpeggiated raag colour. Pluck mode turns the grid into a pad you can strum.
PRESETS
Twelve curated raags (more to be added) — Tilang, Jog, Madhuvanti, Jhinjhoti, Jaijaiwanti, Miyan Ki Todi, Darbari, Miyan Malhar, Baageshri, Des, Bhoopali, Yaman — and save your own.
Produced by Ashwin Srinivasan. Tabla by Shri. Vinayak Netke and Shri. Ajinkya Galande.
