Your photo library is full of the same picture, over and over. That perfect moment? You took ten shots of it — but you only ever look at one. The rest just sit there, cluttering your library and slowing down every scroll.
OpenCleaner finds those near-duplicates — the bursts, the retries, the almost-identical shots taken seconds apart — groups them together, and lets you keep the one that matters. Session by session, you set the pace.
HOW IT WORKS
• Pick a time range. A calendar shows where your photos pile up — review a trip, a month, or a whole year.
• Review each memory. OpenCleaner groups similar photos into clusters. Compare them full-screen, keep the best, remove the rest.
• Confirm — or don't. Nothing is removed until you confirm the full list, and even then photos go to Recently Deleted first. Two safety nets, zero regrets.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• All analysis runs on your device using Apple's Vision framework. Your photos never leave your phone.
• No account. No sign-up.
• No analytics, no trackers, no ads. The app makes no network requests of its own.
• Open-source — read every line at github.com/arthurbricq/open-cleaner
PAY ONCE
No subscription. Buy it once, keep it forever, on iPhone and iPad.
One memory shouldn't cost you ten pictures.
