Mzansi Charades is the South African charades party game your group chat has been waiting for. Hold the phone to your forehead, act it out, and guess as many words as you can before the timer runs out. It is fast, loud and made for the way we play, with big laughs and zero setup.
If you have ever played a heads up style game or a headbands style guessing game, you already know the drill. One player holds the phone to their forehead so everyone else can see the word on screen. The room shouts clues, acts it out, or describes it without saying the actual word. Tilt the phone down when you guess right and up to skip, then beat the timer and add up your score. Mzansi charades takes that classic charades and heads up format and fills it with references that actually land here at home.
This is charades made in Mzansi, for Mzansi. Every deck is packed with real South African content: the slang we use, the celebs we love, the musicians on every playlist, the soapies we argue about, the brands we grew up with, the sports we live for, and the kos that brings everyone to the table. From "eish" and "sharp sharp" to kasi culture, taxi life and the legends of local TV, this is a guessing game that finally speaks your language.
Explore themed decks built around the things that make us us. Play the Mzansi Slang deck and see who really knows their lingo. Test your knowledge of South African celebs, musicians and soapie stars. Travel the country with city packs like Joburg and Cape Town, each loaded with the landmarks, food and moments that define them. Take on local food, famous brands, sports heroes and more. New themed packs are added regularly, plus in-app event decks that drop for special occasions, so there is always something new to play.
Charades Mzansi is the party game for any gathering. Bring it to braais, birthdays and pre-drinks. Make it the centre of family game night when the whole house is together. Keep everyone laughing on road trips, in long queues, or whenever the conversation runs dry. It works brilliantly with just two players and turns into total chaos with a big group, so grab your people and pass the phone around.
There are no complicated rules, no long tutorial and no waiting around. Pick a deck, start the round, and you are playing within seconds. Whether you are a charades pro or have never played a heads up or headbands game in your life, Mzansi charades is easy to pick up and hard to put down.
With hundreds of words across the decks and new content added all the time, no two rounds ever feel the same. Mix and match decks to set the difficulty, play quick rounds or marathon sessions, and try to beat your high score. However you like to play your charades, Charades Mzansi keeps the party going.
For anyone searching for a proper Mzansi charades game, a local charades SA party game, a heads up style word guessing game, or a headbands style game with real South African flavour, Charades Mzansi is exactly that: the proudly South African charades party game built for braais, parties, family game nights and group chats across Mzansi.
