Kidos: The Safer Way to Search — Built for Families
Kidos is a child-friendly search engine and browser built for safer browsing. Whether you are a parent looking for a safe place for your child to explore, or you simply want clean, distraction-free results, Kidos is made for you.
Big, easy-to-read type and large thumbnail previews make it easier for children — and readers of all ages — to find the result they want, without stumbling into adult content.
SAFER BROWSING
• Safe search stays locked on, so adult and violent results are filtered out
• Ads and trackers are blocked, so pages load clean
• Video is kept to kid-friendly channels, with no autoplay and no comments
• Add any site by name to your own always-allowed or never-allowed list
• Every search is recorded in an activity log you can read
PARENTS STAY IN CHARGE
• A 4-digit PIN locks the settings, the site lists and the filter
• The PIN is stored in the device keychain, not in plain text
• Set a daily time allowance and a bedtime for school nights and weekends
• A guided setup walks you through all of it in a few minutes
LEARNING BUILT IN
• 16 educational games across Maths, Spelling, Puzzles and Science
• Nearly 200 questions, with the answer order shuffled every time you play
• Three daily quests, sized to finish in a few focused minutes
• 28 badges to earn and 100 fact cards to collect
• A robot buddy that grows as your child learns
• Look something up and Kidos can offer a short quiz on it
BUILT AROUND HEALTHY HABITS
Progress comes from answering questions and exploring topics — never from time spent in the app. Streaks count the days your child comes back, not the minutes they stay. There are no leaderboards and no comparisons with other children.
DESIGNED FOR READABILITY
• Large, clear type for easier reading
• Big thumbnail previews to help visual navigation
KIDOS+ SUBSCRIPTION
Kidos is free to use, and everything you set up during setup stays free. Kidos+ unlocks the rest. Prices are shown inside the app in your local currency. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation, and a subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings.
