Jum is the app for running your community's recurring game — football, futsal, pickleball, basketball, badminton, running, or any group that plays on a schedule.
THE PROBLEM
A WhatsApp group is a chat log, not a system of record. Every week the same questions get asked all over again — "Who's in this week?", "Who's on which team?", "Did you get my transfer?"
HOW JUM WORKS
An organiser posts an event once — date, time, venue, capacity. Members RSVP with a tap, and a waitlist kicks in automatically once it's full. When it's time, teams get auto-assigned from who's confirmed going (adjust manually if you like) and the roster is published for everyone to see. Afterwards, whoever covered the venue or the drinks logs the expense in seconds, an Admin approves it, and the cost is already split across the right attendees. Everyone can see exactly what they owe or are owed, and mark it settled — no spreadsheet, no "did you get my transfer?"
WHAT'S INSIDE
• Events & RSVP — post once, see who's in and who's waitlisted in real time
• Team formation — auto-assign balanced teams, adjust manually, publish the roster
• Expenses — log a cost in seconds, get it approved, done
• Settlement & ledger — a shared, transparent record of who owes who
• Event history — every past game, attendee list and cost, kept on record
• Communities — run more than one group from one account, each with its own members, events and ledger
• Notifications — a nudge when it matters (waitlist opened, teams published, time to settle), not another group ping
• Organiser tools — approve expenses, manage the waitlist, exclude a guest from a split, all from one place
WHO IT'S FOR
Team captains and event organisers tired of carrying the whole system — the list, the teams, the money — in their head. Jum isn't built around one sport; it's built around the pattern of the same people showing up regularly and splitting costs fairly.
COMMUNITIES, YOUR WAY
Create a public community that anyone nearby can discover and request to join, or keep it private and invite-only. Guests can join a single event without ever creating an account.
Jum doesn't process payments or hold funds — it keeps an honest, shared record of who paid for what and who still owes, so your group can settle up however you already do (cash, bank transfer, whatever works).
