Read the water. Right of way, decoded.
HelmChart turns the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea into something you can actually drill. Every rule is a card you can study in a minute, every encounter is a plot you can read at a glance, and every answer you give is scored so you know exactly which rules you still get wrong.
WHAT'S INSIDE
• 38 rule cards — the full COLREGs set in plain, examinable language, with the clauses that decide most encounters called out. • Lights and shapes — the complete night and day picture: power-driven, sailing, fishing, trawling, towing, not under command, restricted in ability to manoeuvre, constrained by draught, at anchor and aground. • Scenario drills — radar-style bearing plots showing your ship and the other vessel's bearing, range and heading, or the exact light picture you'd see at night. Decide the safe, lawful action and see why it is right. • Final test — 16 questions across the whole syllabus, pass mark 70%. • Progress and weak spots — your accuracy per rule, so revision goes where it is needed instead of over what you already know. • Glossary — 60+ COLREGs terms and abbreviations, searchable and grouped by topic, for the moment you need "constrained by draught" or "risk of collision" defined properly.
WHO IT'S FOR
Deck cadets and officers revising for oral and written examinations, yachtmaster and RYA candidates, commercial skippers keeping current, and anyone who stands a watch and wants the rules to be instinct rather than recall.

IMPORTANT
HelmChart is a study aid for the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea. It is not a navigation instrument and must not be used for decisions at sea — always verify against the official IMO text and your own vessel's procedures.
