Get EMDR is a calm, simple app designed to support resourcing—strengthening access to positive inner states like calm, safety, comfort, confidence, and wisdom—between therapy sessions.
It provides gentle bilateral stimulation (a moving visual target with optional alternating audio) with optional resourcing guidance. Everything is built for low distraction, quick setup, and personal comfort.
Features
• Basic bilateral stimulation with a clean visual target
• Resourcing support with guided prompts and session structure
• Adjust speed, dot size, dot colour, and session timing
• Optional alternating audio tones (headphones recommended)
• Themes (backgrounds/effects/audio) to match preference and environment
• Works on iPhone, iPad, and Mac (Apple TV support planned)
Important note
Get EMDR is intended for wellbeing support and resourcing and is not a substitute for professional mental health care. It is not intended for unguided trauma processing. If you are addressing trauma or severe distress, use EMDR tools under the guidance of a qualified clinician.
