**Flight Mode Map - The Ultimate In-Flight Navigation Experience**
Ever found yourself wondering where exactly you are while flying? What’s your altitude, your speed, or how far you are from your destination? Say goodbye to uncertainty with **Flight Mode Map**, the revolutionary app designed for airline passengers who want to track their precise position on a moving map—without needing an internet connection!
With in-flight entertainment systems being phased out on many planes, Flight Mode Map steps in as your personal navigator. Using the latest iPhone technologies and your device's built-in GPS, Flight Mode Map delivers real-time information about your flight, right in your hand.
### Key Features:
- **Real-Time Flight Data:** View your **ground speed** in mph or km/h, **GPS altitude** in feet or meters, and even **barometric altitude**, all without an internet connection.
- **Track Your Location:** See your exact position on a **moving map**, even while in Airplane Mode, showing you how far you are from your destination in miles, nautical miles, or kilometers.
- **Offline Map Caching**: (**Super Important!**) To use the map during your flight, you **must cache the map data before takeoff**. While you're still on the ground and connected to the internet, open the map in the app, zoom in and out, and scroll over the flight path at the desired zoom levels. This will download the map data for offline use during your flight. The app will save the map sections for your entire route, ensuring you can navigate seamlessly at any altitude. Once you're in the air, no internet connection is needed to view the map!
- **Automatic Updates:** Enable auto-updating of your airplane’s position on the map, providing a seamless experience as you fly.
- **No Internet Required:** Flight Mode Map functions entirely offline, so no data charges or Wi-Fi access is needed.
### Enhanced In-Flight Experience:
- **Stay Informed:** Quickly view your flight information at any time—your altitude, speed, and time remaining to your destination are always visible.
- **"Don't Sleep" Mode:** Keep your screen active throughout the flight with our handy "Don't Sleep" feature, so your navigation data is always ready at a glance.
- **Customizable Units:** Choose between metric or imperial units for altitude and speed.
- **GPS-Optimized:** The app is optimized for window-seat use, ensuring you get the best signal possible while in the air.
### Simple and Reliable:
While in-flight GPS reception may vary, **Flight Mode Map** ensures you always have access to the most accurate information available. Whether you're on a window seat or further from the plane’s edge, our app is built to work even in less-than-ideal conditions.
### Easy Permissions Setup:
Flight Mode Map respects your privacy and only requires minimal permissions for location and altimeter data. Setting up is easy, with clear instructions for enabling permissions if necessary.
**Flight Mode Map** is the perfect travel companion for frequent flyers, aviation enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to stay in control of their flight experience. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, our app provides the insight and information you need to make your flight more enjoyable.
