Calculate your Ballistics like a Pro!
BulletCalc3 does it all.....Metric / Imperial / or Metric AND Imperial!!
Generate Dynamic Ballistic CHARTS w/ "GRAPH DATA" Button -> also featuring Ranges of 100 yards / 200 yards / 300 yards / & 500 yards!
**Gravity on Earth is Very Reliable & Limits the Distance a Heavier-than-Air Object Can be Thrown at a Given Speed -> Throwing FARTHER requires Throwing FASTER & Sometimes HIGHER
-> Evaluate your FORWARD PASS w/ BulletCalc3 & Develop an Arm like a Cannon!!!......or Just Evaluate a REAL Cannon!!
BulletCalc3 will Automatically Calculate FPS / Bullet Energies / Bullet Drop due to Gravity at 100 / 200 / 300 / 400 / 500 / 1000 yards!!!
*note: the Aerodynamic Drag Coefficient Used is Exclusive to BulletCalc3, and may vary from Published Values.
++ Aerodynamic Drag Values can be Calibrated or Fine-Tuned using Trajectory Data Published on Ammunition Boxes....or also via Range Observations w/ Chronograph & Bench Mount -> Resulting in Improved Ballistic Model Performance at ANY Distance
++ Sound Barrier Turbulence & Bullet Shape Related Aerodynamic Fluctuation are Known Phenomenon affecting ALL Ballistic Calculators -> BulletCalc3 utilizes Simplicity as the Best Approach for Minimizing Model-to-Measurement Variation in FAST Smartphone Based Ballistic Calculation
Don't know what the specs on that Bullet Cartridge are?
Use the "Web Search" button to pull up all of the information you're missing right from the Shooting Range
Calculate Instantaneous Velocities and Energies at any Range Distance you want to!
Now you're the Expert!!
-Located in "GRAPH DATA" >>> MOA [Minute of Arc] -> mrad [milliradians] -> Gun Sight ZERO Setting [yards] -> Yards / mil & Meters / mil
**to Adjust Gun Sight ZERO -> [Press "CHANGE UNITS" Button] -> [Scroll to Bottom] -> [Adjust Value] -> [Press "SAVE UNITS"]
>>> Gun Sight ZERO sets Parabolic Gravitational Arc by using Raw MUZZLE Velocity as a Horizontal Vector -> Slower Speeds w/ Longer Gun Sight ZERO = Taller Parabolic Arc
*which Corresponds to Higher Firing Angle
-"RIFLEMAN'S RULE" & Tiltmeter Accelerometer Feature -> Located in "Change Units" MENU
**Easily measure Slant ANGLE of a Hill & Automatically Calculate Rifleman's Horizontal Distance from Slant Range Laser Rangefinder Value
***Pressing "EXPORT Distance" Button Updates the Bullet Drop Calculation & Dataset
-INTERACTIVE TextField to Ballistic Charts "GRAPH DATA" Feature -> Calculation Parameters Description
**this GRAPH Description Auto-Populates when "CALCULATE" Button is Pressed or CALIBER is Selected from MENU
***Description Data Includes -> Caliber Information / Muzzle Velocity / Projectile Mass / Aerodynamic Drag Coefficient
-> [Tap "CALCULATE"] or [Select a CALIBER from MENU] -> [Tap "GRAPH DATA"] -> [Scroll Down to CHART DESCRIPTION Text Field below TOP GRAPH] -> [Modify DESCRIPTION as Desired]
-GRAPH Description Feature -> Copy-Paste-to-Clipboard
**to COPY Ballistic Parameters: "Tap mrad [milliradians] -> MOA [Minute of Arc] -> yards / mil" -> Text will Flash RED
***PASTE Clipboard -> to Notes, Text Messages, Email, etc >>> to Describe Ballistic CHART
