Birdo is the golf companion that thinks like a caddie. Pull up any hole, and Birdo uses your exact GPS position to tell you the real distance to the green — then factors in wind, elevation, and your lie to recommend the right club from your own bag, learned from how far you actually hit each one.
PLAY SMARTER, EVERY HOLE
• Live GPS distance to the front, center, and back of the green
• On-device AI Caddie gives a club recommendation with the reasoning behind it — wind, elevation, and lie all factored into the "plays-like" distance
• Works without a network connection once a course is loaded — no signal needed mid-round
• Log actual shot results (by GPS or by hand) and Birdo quietly refines your club distances over time, so recommendations get more personal the more you play
SCORE THE WAY YOU WANT
• Full digital scorecard with stroke play, net, and Stableford formats
• Automatic handicap tracking from your round history — no spreadsheets
• Play and score with your group in real time: share a join code, and everyone's scores sync live to one shared scorecard and leaderboard
• Hosts can adjust par and stroke index on the fly if a course's info needs a tweak
• Played from a GPS-equipped cart? Import its scorecard straight from the email — share it or paste it in, review, and save
BUILT FOR THE COURSE
• Course data pulled from OpenStreetMap, covering courses worldwide for free — no per-course unlock fees
• Apple Watch companion runs its own GPS and club recommendations, so your phone can stay in the bag: live distances, score entry, and hole navigation from your wrist, with your AI pick pushed over automatically whenever your phone's nearby
• A wrist tap when you reach the green, and again when Birdo moves you to the next tee
• Local weather pulled in automatically to inform the AI Caddie's recommendations
PRIVACY FIRST
Birdo's AI Caddie runs entirely on-device using Apple's on-device Foundation Models — your shots, your scores, and your position are never sent anywhere for the AI to work. Finding courses and fetching wind do send the course's coordinates (never your identity, your scores, or an account) to OpenStreetMap and Apple Weather. Group rounds sync through Apple's CloudKit, linked by a short join code; your personal round history stays on your device. No ads, no in-app purchases, no third-party analytics.
