Begin with Scripture.
Bible First brings the New King James Version together with a calm Coptic Orthodox design and practical tools for a daily reading habit.
READ AT YOUR OWN PACE
Read all 66 books of the supplied NKJV edition offline. Choose smooth vertical scrolling or turn pages like a book. Switch reading style in Settings or the reader options; your preference and place are remembered. Adjust text size and move between books and chapters.
KEEP YOUR DAILY COMMITMENT
Set a daily time and choose tomorrow’s goal from 1 to 60 minutes before midnight. Today’s duration stays fixed. Reading reminders let you open your commitment and reschedule today without shortening the goal. With your permission, Apple Screen Time protects selected apps from your scheduled time until you finish. Only active Scripture reading counts; leaving the reader or locking your phone pauses progress.
READ WITH THE FATHERS
Explore short Coptic and patristic excerpts matched to individual verses or passages, with author and source references. Coverage is growing gradually; uncovered passages show Commentary coming soon.
KEEP WHAT SPEAKS TO YOU
Tap a verse to select it with a dotted underline, then tap a colour to highlight. Add a note separately, name colour themes and organise bookmarks into collections. Save commentary passages to revisit later.
A QUIET, PERSONAL SPACE
Free, with no purchases, account, advertising or analytics. Reading history, notes and saved passages stay on your device. Reminders are scheduled locally.
Independently created by MAVAT and rooted in Coptic Orthodox tradition. Daily passages are for personal devotion, not the Church’s liturgical lectionary. This supplied 66-book NKJV edition does not include deuterocanonical books.
