Bænk helps you find a good place to sit.
Open the map and see the benches around you, each rated by people who have sat there. Looking for something in particular? Filter for top rated, shade, a view, somewhere quiet or by the water.
Found a good one? Add it in a few taps with a photo, a pin and a rating, so the next person can find it too.
• Benches near you, with walking time
• Ratings and short notes, called sits
• Tags like shaded, sunset spot, quiet, has a back, water view and near a café
• Save your favourite benches
• A journal of every bench you've sat on
• Works offline with benches you've already seen
• In English and Danish
No account, no sign-up and no ads. Open the app and have a seat. If you'd like your benches to follow you to a new phone, you can keep them with Apple or your email. You never have to.
Photos are for benches, not people. Faces are blurred on your phone before a photo is saved, and every photo is checked before anyone else sees it. Spot something that doesn't belong? Report it or block the person, right from the menu.
Bænk is made by one person. If you like it, you can buy the maker a coffee.
