AiModelTracker is a real-time observatory for AI model releases — the frontier models and open-weight models shipping from every major lab, in one live feed that updates itself around the clock.
No feeds to curate, no subreddits to check, no newsletters to skim. AiModelTracker pulls from OpenRouter, benchmark data from benchlm.ai, and its own discovery scans of research and developer communities, then merges it all into a single catalog you can trust.
WHAT YOU GET
Live catalog — dozens of frontier and open-weight models, tracked continuously and refreshed automatically, with no manual updates required.
At-a-glance stats — how many models are tracked, how many are open vs. frontier, how long since the last release, how many shipped this month, and the current release cadence, all summarized in two clean tiles.
Latest Drop — tap the "Days Ago" tile to instantly see every model that shipped in the most recent release, with one tap into full details.
Model details — pricing, context window, max output, knowledge cutoff, and lab of origin, presented cleanly with no clutter.
Benchmark leaderboards — compare models across categories like reasoning, coding, and math, with an overall ranking that only credits models with real, multi-category benchmark coverage.
Search & filters — find models by name or by the country/lab they came from, and narrow the catalog to open-weight models or this month's releases.
Push notifications — get alerted the moment a new model is discovered, so you're never behind.
A companion website — your purchase also unlocks the full experience at modeltracker.ai. Sign in with Apple once to sync search, filters, and rankings between your iPhone and your browser.
WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
AiModelTracker isn't a news aggregator republishing headlines — it's a structured, continuously-updated dataset built specifically to answer "what's new, and how good is it?" The moment a model ships, it appears here with the numbers that matter, not marketing copy.
One purchase, no subscriptions, no ads, no in-app purchases. $2.99 once, and it's yours — including everything future updates add.
PRIVACY
AiModelTracker doesn't track you. The only device data stored is what's needed to deliver push notifications, and it's never linked to your identity or shared with anyone. Full policy at modeltracker.ai/privacy.
Requires iOS 16 or later. Optimized for iPhone.
What's New in This Version:
Version 1.26 brings the app and the website together, plus some sharper tools for digging through the catalog.
Unlock the web, too — your purchase now works at modeltracker.ai as well. Tap the "Unlock Web" button, sign in with Apple, and your full app experience — search, filters, rankings — carries over to your browser. Once you're unlocked, the button gets out of the way entirely.
Smarter search — results now match on a model's country or lab of origin, not just its name.
New "This Month" filter — jump straight to everything released so far this month.
Clearer leaderboard comparisons — the leading score always appears on the left, so head-to-head comparisons read at a glance.
General reliability and performance improvements under the hood.
As always, this is a one-time $2.99 purchase — no subscriptions, no ads, no in-app purchases.
