In Ethiopia, the government is the largest purchaser of goods and services, followed by NGOs and international organizations like the UN. These entities post tenders and bids (chereta) in newspapers and on platforms like 2merkato.com, but tracking down the right opportunities can be time-consuming and costly. It’s easy to miss important notices while sifting through them all.
For years, 2merkato has provided a solution to save time and reduce costs. Our platform is now available through a mobile app, allowing you to access tenders directly from your phone.
What you can expect from the app:
A complete collection of tenders from major newspapers and regional sources, in three languages: Amharic, English, and Oromo.
Custom filters to help you find the tenders that are most relevant to your business.
Timely alerts and background downloads to keep you updated.
Access downloaded tenders even when you’re offline.
With over 10 years of experience (since 2009), we’ve perfected our system to ensure you never miss a tender.
The mobile app takes our service to the next level, helping you quickly find business opportunities and achieve your goals with ease.
