Ask someone where they are. They tap a link and approve. You see them on the map. 100% free for approximate location — upgrade to unlock exact location.
WhereAreYou sends a single link so someone can share their location with you — once, with their consent, right now. No account. No continuous tracking. Just a clear request and one useful answer.
HOW IT WORKS
• Pick a contact (or just type a name) and send a location request as a link
• They open it, agree, and their location appears on your map — no app install required
• Works with any messaging app including WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Messenger, LINE or any app you already use, including E-Mail and SMS
• Works on any modern phone with internet access, not just iPhones
BUILT FOR CONSENT, NOT SURVEILLANCE
Every request has to be sent and approved individually. Locations don't refresh automatically, and nothing updates in the background. This app isn't built for tracking someone continuously — it's built for the moment you actually need to know where someone is.
PRIVACY BY DESIGN
No registration, no account, no personal profile. All activity is anonymized on our end, and we take real measures to keep even that anonymized data secure.
Please use WhereAreYou with the same respect you'd want in return — only request locations from people who expect and welcome the request.
