WeatherKoreaS is a streamlined weather utility that utilizes short-term forecast data from the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) to provide highly detailed and accurate weather information for your specific neighborhood.
Tired of cluttered and heavy weather apps? WeatherKoreaS filters out the noise and presents only the essential meteorological data (current temperature, hourly precipitation probability, weekly outlooks, and fine dust levels) in a highly readable, minimalist UI. Moreover, you can beautifully customize your iPhone's home screen with our variety of widgets, perfectly optimized for iOS.
- Core Features for Maximum Efficiency
* Highly Accurate Local Weather: Directly connects to KMA APIs to deliver the fastest real-time weather briefings for your current location or saved areas.
* Customizable Home Widgets: Supports various widget themes (hourly flow, weekly summary, air quality focus) and allows you to adjust background transparency to perfectly match your wallpaper.
* Smart Past-Data Filtering: When viewing hourly forecasts, it intelligently hides unnecessary past data from earlier in the day, helping you focus only on the upcoming weather.
* Nationwide Weather Map: Features a clean graphic map of the Korean peninsula with weather conditions for major cities visually placed, making it easy to grasp the overall weather during domestic travel.
* Quick Popup Dialogs: Tapping a widget opens an instant popup menu for quick actions (refresh, change location) rather than loading the entire app, saving system resources.
* Dark Mode & Multi-Language: Reduces eye strain by syncing with the system Dark Mode, and natively supports 5 global languages (English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese Simplified and Traditional).
- Your Privacy is Strictly Protected
WeatherKoreaS demands zero personal data and only requests one-time location permission (optional) strictly for weather retrieval. Your location data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to or stored on external servers.
