See what electricity costs right now, when it gets cheap, and what you save by shifting your usage.
Voltly covers Denmark (DK1 and DK2), Sweden (SE3 and SE4), Norway (NO2), Germany, France, the Netherlands and Belgium – in English, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, German, French and Dutch.
THE PRICE AS IT LANDS ON THE BILL
Not just the spot price. Grid tariff, taxes, your supplier's markup and VAT are added on top, so the number is what you actually pay. In Denmark your grid company's tariff is fetched straight from Energinet – including the switch between summer and winter rates. Tap the price to see what it is made of.
TODAY AND TOMORROW
The whole day in a chart you can drag your finger across, down to every quarter of an hour when you want the detail. The next cheap period sits at the top, and tomorrow's prices arrive when the market publishes them in the early afternoon.
CHEAP OR EXPENSIVE – COMPARED TO WHAT
Colours follow the day's own prices, not a fixed threshold. The same price can be cheap in February and expensive on a windy Sunday in July.
APPLIANCES AND ALERTS
Add your washing machine, dishwasher, EV and heat pump, and see the cheapest time to run them and what waiting is worth. Get told when the price drops below your limit, when it gets high, or when power stays cheap for several hours in a row.
ENERGY COACH (PREMIUM)
The 2–4 most useful tips right now, based on your goal, your appliances and your routines. Today's and tomorrow's plan coordinates EV charging, laundry, home battery and solar so they don't pull in different directions. "Should I wait?" gives a clear answer for one appliance at a time.
YOUR SAVINGS (PREMIUM)
Possible savings this month and an estimated yearly figure, per appliance and in a monthly report – calculated on the actual prices and your regular routines.
SOLAR FORECAST AND HOME BATTERY (PREMIUM)
A solar forecast from Apple Weather for your installation, and a plan for when it pays to charge and use your home battery.
YOUR OWN USAGE AND SOLAR (DENMARK)
Connect your electricity meter with MitID through Eloverblik and the prices turn into kroner: consumption and solar export hour by hour, day by day and month by month, compared with the same month last year. Insight shows the year on one page, when you use the most, and your records. The kroner amounts and Insight require Premium.
FIVE-DAY FORECAST (PREMIUM)
The market only publishes today and tomorrow. The next days are calculated from your own area's prices and shown as an estimate with a range – never as a price you can count on.
WIDGETS, LOCK SCREEN AND APPLE WATCH
Widgets for the Home Screen and Lock Screen, a Live Activity counting down to the cheap period, and an Apple Watch app with complications.
NO ACCOUNT, NO TRACKING
No sign-in and no tracking. Prices come from open data published by Energinet and Energy-Charts. If you connect your meter, EU Studio's server fetches your metering data from Eloverblik for you – for the app only, never for anyone else.
FREE AND PREMIUM
Today's and tomorrow's prices, the charts, the cheapest and most expensive hours and the widgets are free. In Denmark, price alerts and up to three appliances are free as well. Premium is a subscription – Monthly or Yearly – that renews automatically until you cancel it in the App Store, or Lifetime as a one-time purchase.
