Your brain isn't meant to hold everything. That random idea during a meeting. The thing you need to remember later. The task that just popped into your head. These mental "open tabs" pile up and quietly drain your focus.
Volanote is where those thoughts go. Open it, type, done. No folders, no tags, no setup. Just a place to dump what's in your head so you can get back to what you were doing.
How it works:
Add notes in seconds from wherever you are - the app, your lock screen, Siri, the share sheet, or a home screen widget. When you have a few minutes, swipe through your notes in review mode to decide what matters and what doesn't.
That's it. Capture fast. Review later.
Features:
- Add notes via Siri, widgets, share sheet, shortcuts, or the Action Button
- Weekly review sessions to process what you've captured
- Flag important notes with a single tap
- "Stale" badges remind you when notes have been sitting too long
- iCloud sync keeps everything on all your devices
- Lock screen and Control Center widgets for instant access
No subscription. Pay once, use forever - on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Built by one developer who actually uses this app every day. No bloat, no feature creep - just what you need to get thoughts out of your head and into a trusted place.
