Turn your iPhone into a 1980s camcorder. VHS 3000 records real videos that look — and sound — like they were shot on tape, played back on a worn VCR, and pulled out of a shoebox thirty years later.
This is not a sticker slapped over your footage. VHS 3000 simulates the actual analog signal path: color bleed, tape snow, tracking errors, head-switch tearing, interlacing, wobble and hiss are generated scanline by scanline, exactly the way real tape decks mangled the picture.
SHOOT LIKE IT'S 1988
• Live viewfinder shows the exact tape look while you film — what you see is what you get
• Burned-in date and time stamps in the classic camcorder OSD font
• Custom tape titles — type anything and drag it anywhere on screen
• Slow power zoom rocker, torch and selfie cam, just like the real thing
• Four tape looks: VHS 1988, Home Video, Night Tape and B&W
DUB YOUR OLD FOOTAGE
• Import any video from your library and run it through the same tape pipeline
• Dubs keep their original recording date for the stamp — a clip from 2019 gets stamped 2019
• Perfect for making modern footage match the family archive
REAL TAPE BEHAVIOUR
• Random Tape Wear mode gently drifts picture quality as you record, like a real worn cassette
• Or take control: dial in fuzz, snow, dropouts, sharpness, jitter and tracking yourself
• Tape-style audio: thin, hissy and warbly, like it came off a linear track
