Veida is the hunting map for your team.
Map your hunting ground once: stands with shooting sectors, boundaries, trails, parking and areas to stay out of. Everyone on the team sees the same map, and it is always the one that applies — no paper copies, no "which stand did you say?".
ON YOUR STAND
• Mark yourself ready with one tap. The hunt leader sees who is standing where.
• Share your position with the team while the hunt is on, and turn it off afterwards.
• Navigate to your stand: the hunt leader draws the way in, and you follow it checkpoint by checkpoint.
• Distance rings around you — judging distance in the forest is hard, and distance decides whether you shoot.
THE GAME
• Log sightings, tracks, wounded animals and harvests where you stand.
• A wounded animal alerts the whole team at once.
• Harvests count automatically against the team's quota.
THE WEATHER
• Wind and weather for each stand, four periods a day, two days ahead — the wind shifting through the day decides whether a stand is usable.
• Slide the wind layer over the map up to two days ahead.
THE HUNT
• Plan hunting days, assign stands, or draw them at random.
• Hunting periods where the team answers Yes/Maybe/No before the hunts are planned.
• Chat with the team, about a hunt, or one-to-one.

PRIVACY
Your position is shared only when you turn sharing on, and only with your team. It is not stored unless you turn on the track log — and that log is deleted two days later. A route is the most revealing thing an app can know about a person.
Veida is free. You can try the whole app without signing up: a made-up hunting team shows how everything looks.
