Standing at the shelf wondering whether the 1.2 kg tub really beats the 500 g jar? Unit Price Calculator gives you the answer in seconds — the true price per 100 g, per 100 ml or per piece, so the bigger pack never fools you again.
Most shelf tags quote unit prices inconsistently: one brand per kilogram, the next per 100 grams, the third not at all. This app does the math properly — exact decimal arithmetic, real ounce, pound and fluid-ounce conversions — and it refuses to fake a winner: weight is never ranked against volume, and when two options work out identical, it says tie instead of crowning one at random.
WHAT YOU GET
• Type two prices and two pack sizes — the better value lights up instantly, with exactly how many percent you save
• A personal catalog of the products you actually buy, every size and store you've spotted, cheapest option always ranked first
• Log the shelf price whenever you shop — a "lowest ever" badge tells you when today is genuinely the day to stock up
• See which store wins on the most of your items, so you know where your whole basket costs less
• A shopping list that remembers the best store and expected price for every entry
• Mix metric and imperial freely — grams, kg, oz, lb, ml, liters, fl oz or plain piece count, converted exactly
PERFECT FOR
• Shoppers torn between the family pack and the regular size
• Bulk buyers checking whether the warehouse club actually beats the supermarket
• Budgeters who track what their staples cost and refuse to quietly pay more
• Anyone whose store keeps reshuffling package sizes to hide price rises
WHY NOT JUST READ THE SHELF LABEL? Because labels compare nothing for you: one is quoted per kg, another per 100 g, another per item — and none of them remembers what you paid last month or which store was cheaper. This app normalizes every offer to the same base and keeps your own price history, so "is this a good price?" finally has an answer.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Everything stays on your iPhone. Works fully offline in the aisle — no account, no ads, no tracking, and no barcode or internet lookup needed.
