Time is an independent, third-party Apple Watch client for Plex. It is not made by, affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Plex, Inc. — it simply connects to your own Plex account and server, the same way any Plex client does.
Your Plex library, on your wrist.
Browse your libraries, pick up where you left off, and actually watch — video, live TV, and music, streamed straight from your own server to your watch. No iPhone app, no companion required.
CONTINUE WATCHING, CONTINUED
The show you paused on the couch is the first thing on your watch. Resume picks up at the exact moment, and your watch progress syncs back to Plex — every screen in your life stays on the same frame.
REAL VIDEO PLAYBACK
Your server transcodes on the fly to a watch-perfect stream, so playback is smooth even over cellular. Three quality presets, from Data Saver to Sharp, with subtitles burned right in.
LIVE TV ON YOUR WRIST
Got Plex DVR with a tuner or IPTV source? The guide shows what's on right now — tap a channel and you're watching broadcast television on a watch. The future is stupid and wonderful.
DOWNLOADS FOR OFFLINE
Save watch-optimized copies of movies and episodes directly to watch storage. Time checks your free space, shows the size up front, and plays them anywhere — airplane mode, ocean swims aside.
YOUR MUSIC TOO
Albums and tracks direct-play to your Bluetooth headphones, with on-wrist controls.
BUILT FOR THE WRIST
• Sign in in seconds with a plex.tv/link code — never type a password on a watch
• Automatic server discovery; local connections preferred, remote and relay as fallback
• Search your whole library with curated, wrist-sized results
• Huge libraries load instantly with smooth paging
• Offline servers clearly flagged so you're never left guessing
• Clock hidden during playback for a clean, cinematic frame (optional)
WHAT YOU NEED
A Plex account and access to a Plex Media Server (your own, or one shared with you). Live TV requires Plex DVR on your server. Time talks directly to plex.tv and your server — no middleman, no tracking, no analytics. Ever.
