The Planetary Society is the world's largest community of space enthusiasts, started by famed astronomer Carl Sagan and today led by celebrated science educator Bill Nye. Together, we're on a mission to increase discoveries in our Solar System and beyond, elevate the search for life outside our planet, and decrease the risk of Earth being hit by an asteroid. We do all of this through advocacy, education outreach, scientific innovation, and global collaboration.
Our member community app is taking our mission to advance space science and exploration to the next level, allowing our members from around the world to connect, collaborate, learn, and advocate for space exploration.
Space is vast, and there's a lot of exploring to do! Everyone is welcome. Become a member of The Planetary Society, join our community, and take your place in space today.
The Planetary Society is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
