Fàl is an online community space rooted in Scottish folk practice, seasonal living, witchcraft, and everyday spiritual connection.
Created by That Glasgow Witch, Fàl offers a steady place to gather, learn, reflect, and build a living practice in community. The app brings together seasonal teachings, folk practice, guided resources, discussion spaces, book recommendations, calendar support, and workshops for those who want depth without dogma.
The name Fàl speaks to the idea of a boundary, hedge, or enclosure: a protected space that is also a threshold. Inside the app, that spirit shapes the community. Fàl is a place for kindness, accountability, respect, curiosity, and meaningful spiritual practice.
Within the app, members can explore the community in a way that suits their practice.
The Hedge offers an introduction to Fàl, with selected materials from across the wider community. This gives new members a way to explore the space, experience the tone of the work, and access choice resources before moving more deeply into the app.
First Footing includes a discussion board, book club, and daily energies calendar. This space supports regular connection, shared reflection, and conversation around seasonal practice, spiritual learning, books, and the rhythms of everyday life.
The deeper practice area includes The Witch’s Wheel calendar, book recommendations, older folk material, guided meditations, and focused discussion spaces on subjects such as astrology, herbalism, Scottish folk practice, seasonal ritual, and related areas of spiritual work. This area is designed for those who want a more developed practice space with resources they can return to throughout the year.
The teaching area brings together curated workshops and structured learning. These teachings offer guided exploration of practice, history, ritual, and spiritual craft in a way that can be revisited at your own pace.
Inside Fàl, members can access:
Seasonal teachings and reflections connected to the Wheel of the Year
The Witch’s Wheel calendar and daily energies calendar
Scottish folk practice resources, including saining, hearth work, threshold magic, plant wisdom, charms, divination, offerings, and ancestral connection
Updates, resources, and teachings from That Glasgow Witch
Fàl is for witches, pagans, folk practitioners, and spiritually curious people who want to build a grounded practice in their real life. Whether you are new, returning, or already deeply rooted in your craft, the community is designed to support steady learning, personal reflection, and connection with others walking a similar path.
Fàl is not about fear, performance, or gatekeeping. It is a living community for those drawn to seasonal rhythm, Scottish folk custom, ancestral connection, land-based practice, and the magic of ordinary life.
