You saved it because it mattered. Then it sat there.
Stash gets you through it. Save an article, and Stash reads it aloud on your iPhone while you cook, commute, or walk the dog. The pile gets smaller in the hours you already have.
NO METER
Other readers sell you minutes. Stash has no server, so there is nothing to meter. Save two articles or two hundred. Listen to all of them. No word counts, no monthly minutes, no upgrade wall.
READY BEFORE YOU ARE
Audio is generated in the background the moment you save. Put in your earbuds and it is already waiting. No buffering, no spinner.
WORKS WHERE PODCASTS DO NOT
The reader, the voice, and the queue all live on your phone. Airplane mode, the subway, a dead zone in the hills. Nothing changes.
THE QUEUE EMPTIES ITSELF
Finish an article and it moves to the archive on its own. Favorite the ones you want to keep. No tidying, no ritual.
NO NONSENSE
No account. No onboarding. No ads. No tracking. No subscription. No limits. Download it, share an article from Safari, press play. That is the whole setup.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Stash from the share sheet, a pasted link, or plain text
- Listen to a natural on-device voice, or read along with the text
- Drag to reorder the queue, or send something to the top
- Speed and a sleep timer. Nothing else to configure.
- Export any article. It is your data.
- Sync across your devices with iCloud. No iCloud? Stash still works.
BUILT TO LAST
We build every version as if it is the last one we will ever ship. There is no server, so nothing leaves your phone, and the Stash on your phone keeps working without us. One purchase. Every update included, including better voices when better open models land.
Made by two people who wanted a read-later app that respects them.
