Sommo is an AI wine scanner, cellar manager, tasting journal and wine school. Scan a label for trusted details, then keep, correct and enjoy every wine in one place.
In the wine aisle, at a restaurant or beside your cellar, identify the bottle and decide what to do next.
SCAN ANY WINE LABEL
Point your camera at any bottle. In seconds, get tasting notes, pairings, serving temperature and a flavour profile. Keep front, back and bottle photos together, correct grape varieties, and refresh details without losing label evidence.
THE 3D WINE WALL
See your cellar as a real wall: orbit it, pinch in until the labels read, and drag bottles between slots by hand. Glass takes the colour of the wine inside, foil collars carry each bottle's drinking window, and racks run up to twelve bottles deep, the way a real cellar stacks. Describe your meal and Sommo's AI picks the right bottle from what you own, with reasoning and alternatives. Share a whole rack by link: a live view, as viewer or editor.
WINE TASTING MODE
At a tasting with a flight of wines? Scan the flight card and AI identifies every wine. Quick-rate each one, add notes and flavour tags, mark favourites. Sommo writes per-wine sommelier reviews and a palate insight for the session.
TASTE TOGETHER
Host a Sharing Party: guests join by code, everyone rates the same flight blind, and the reveal shows who loved what. Compare palates with Mix Palate, up to eight tasters behind one code. Share tasting notes and your Taste DNA as designed cards.
SCAN MENUS & WINE SHELVES
At a restaurant? Scan the wine list for instant scoring and honest picks. Shopping? Scan a whole shelf and find the best value for your budget.
YOUR PERSONAL WINE JOURNAL
Log every bottle with a three-tier rating, or go deep with SAT Notes following the Systematic Approach to Tasting. AI feedback compares your notes against the wine's profile and scores the alignment.
YOUR PALATE & TASTE DNA
One page that knows how you drink: a six-axis Taste DNA radar drawn from your journal (body, sweetness, acidity, tannin, intensity, adventurousness), with your archetype, signature style, and recommendations beneath it. Recent bottles weigh more, so it moves when your taste does.
INSIGHTS
Your journal and cellar patterns in one dashboard: what you rate, what you own, what's ready, what it's worth. Premium adds AI narratives on what to explore next.
