Play a real piano from your first session. Soloist combines an 88-key virtual keyboard, a structured lesson path, public-domain repertoire, private imports, and grading that admits when it cannot hear you clearly. No ads, no account, and one optional purchase: pay once and keep it.
SEE IT, THEN PLAY IT
Every lesson opens with a demonstration that presses the keys itself, with the finger number on each key and the left and right hands in their own colors. Then play along slowly with the next keys lit, or turn on Wait Mode and the music waits for you. Finish with a graded take at full speed.
HONEST GRADING
Touch and compatible connected-keyboard input are deterministic: the key you play is the event that gets graded. Microphone practice is optional and confidence-gated. When the app cannot confirm a note, it says so instead of inventing a wrong-note verdict. Practice audio never leaves your device.
FIVE MINUTES OF REAL PROGRESS
Each Daily Workout combines a warm-up, one genuinely shaky bar from your own take history, a lesson step, and a song. Daily quests, streak protection, levels, badges, unit certificates, personal-best arcs, and weekly practice leagues reward effort without hearts, shame, or pay-to-progress mechanics.
A COURSE THAT GROWS WITH YOU
Twelve units and 73 lessons move from first notes through two-hand playing and real repertoire. A 60-second optional graded placement uses touch or a compatible keyboard, then queues a public-domain piece at the right level. Practice right hand, left hand, or both together; slow the tempo and loop the section that needs attention.
PLAY, IMPORT, AND SHARE
Choose Listen, File, or Hum to create a private practice draft. Standard MIDI files can become deterministic touch-or-keyboard lessons when you own or are permitted to use the music. After a real public-domain graded take, make a vertical waterfall clip with the take's honest score and locally generated audio, then choose whether to share it.
PRIVATE COACHING
Soloist's on-device coach grounds every suggestion in your real timing, pitch, articulation, dynamics, and worst-bar metrics. It never invents praise or mistakes, and reports can be sent to nora@playsoloist.com.
FREE, WITH NO ADS
The 88-key keyboard, metronome, scales, Unit 1, 51 songs and play-along charts, three imports a month, and the on-device coach are free.
SOLOIST PIANO PRO LIFETIME: PAY ONCE

Family Sharing is supported, and the App Store shows the exact price in your region before you confirm.
