You already know the motion. Thumb up, thumb up, thumb up — an hour gone, nothing left behind.
Scroll The Quran gives that same motion something worth keeping. One ayah fills the screen. You swipe up, and the next one is there. Doomscrolling becomes lifescrolling.
FREE — THE WHOLE QUR'AN, OFFLINE
• All 114 surahs and all 6,236 ayahs, bundled inside the app
• 7 editions: the Arabic text, transliteration, and translations
• Fully offline reading — on a plane, on the subway, with no signal at all
• Jump to any surah from the picker — filter the list by name or number
• Bookmark and favourite the ayahs you want to return to
• No ads. Not one, anywhere in the app.
FOUR LANGUAGES, YOUR CHOICE
English, Turkish, Arabic and German, with proper right-to-left layout for Arabic. You choose the language inside the app with a single tap — it does not follow your phone's system setting, so you can read in Arabic while your phone stays in English. The Turkish translation is Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır's, in the public domain.
PREMIUM — DEEP STUDY, AYAH BY AYAH
Some ayahs stop you. Premium is for those. Open a deep study on any verse and you get:
• Root-word meanings — the Arabic triliteral roots and what they carry
• A word-by-word breakdown of the original text
• Related ayahs elsewhere in the Qur'an that speak to the same theme
• "Explain simpler" — the same study rewritten plainly when the language gets dense
Studies are written in your chosen language. Many are already prepared and open instantly; anything new is generated on request.
Premium also unlocks unlimited studies, memorization and reading plans.
ABOUT THE AI STUDY NOTES
Deep studies are generated by AI and grounded in classical tafsir scholarship. They are a learning aid, meant to help you read more closely and ask better questions. They are not a fatwa, not a religious ruling, and not a replacement for a qualified scholar. The app says this plainly, every time you open one.
QUIET REMINDERS
One gentle reading reminder in the evening, scheduled on your device — nothing is sent from a server. If you have already been reading, you are left alone. If it has been a while, you get a nudge. On Fridays there is one more: a reminder to read Surah Al-Kahf. That is the whole system.
ON GIVING
There is a Giving screen in the app, and right now it says exactly what is true: no donations have been made yet, and donation features are planned. When that changes, the screen will change with it.
اقرأ — "Read." The first word revealed. That is the whole idea.
