Every deduction shows the reading behind it, and a report built on too few answers may not call a scooter good.

Xiaomi's newest models, newer E-Wheels and NIU KQi are recognised, but keep their data encrypted or behind the maker's servers. The app says so rather than spinning.
READS ONLY
ScooterCheck reads; it never reconfigures. On Xiaomi and newer Ninebot, reading means completing the scooter's own pairing handshake: the app says so first, and one button press restores the owner's pairing.
