Before you carry the new sofa up three flights of stairs, find out if it fits.
Scooch is a no-nonsense floor plan app that answers one question: will it fit? Draw your rooms at their real measurements, place furniture at real sizes, and see what fits and what collides before you move anything heavy.
MEASURE ONCE, MOVE NOTHING
- Draw a room in minutes. Type exact dimensions and they stay exact.
- Doors, windows and arches slide along walls, with real swing arcs.
- Every wall shows its measurement, in metric or imperial.
FURNITURE THAT ADAPTS
- 36 clean pieces instead of a 500-model catalogue to dig through.
- Stretch a piece and its drawing keeps up: a longer dining table sets more plates, a wider couch gets more cushions, a bigger wardrobe grows more doors.
- Customize each piece: the number of doors, drawers and cushions, arm sides, sofa bed or not.
- Resize by hand or type the numbers from the shop listing.
- Chairs tuck under tables, just like in real life.
- Missing something? Draw your own furniture and it behaves like any other piece.
SEE PROBLEMS WHILE THEY ARE STILL LIGHT
- Overlapping furniture gets flagged in red.
- Doors, drawers and sofa beds can show the space they need to open.
- A couch that will not fit is a lot easier to move on screen.

- Automatic iCloud backup.
MADE BY ONE PERSON WHO MOVES FURNITURE A LOT
Scooch is made by one person: me. I rearrange furniture a lot, and I got tired of heavyweight 3D design suites when all I wanted to know was whether the couch fits. I use Scooch on my own flat every week.
No account. No ads. Your plans stay on your device and in your own iCloud backup. Anonymous usage stats (which you can turn off in Settings) show me what to improve.
