You think you know your friends. Same is how you find out.
Swipe a card. Dogs or cats. Pineapple on pizza. Slippers: “Straight into them.” or “I am not ninety.” It takes a second. Then you see which of your friends said the same, and which of them, it turns out, you hardly know at all.
The cards are the fun. Thousands of question cards, from the harmless to the revealing, and a good many of them funnier than they should be. One answer is a laugh. A few hundred are a picture of somebody: what you share, where you part ways, and everything you would never have thought to ask. And every day there is one Card of the Day, the same for everybody.
Think you can call it? Guess what a friend said before you see it. Being right feels great. Being wrong is better, because now you have to ask why. And the whys are where it gets good: the story behind the answer nobody saw coming.
When swiping alone is not enough, play a deck with a friend. Guess each other's answers, uncover the things you both secretly want, or take on a category together and see how well you match.
When you are ready for somebody new, Same can introduce you to people nearby who answer the way you do. Faces stay blurred until you have played together and both said yes.
