As part of NortonLifeLock Inc., Norton Labs is leading the company’s future technology and guiding the consumer cybersecurity industry around the globe while delivering innovative prototypes with test-friendly features so adventurous users can learn and offer feedback.
SafePic by Norton Labs helps you keep your private photos…well, private. Photos stored in your device’s photo library may be accessible to photo sharing and editing apps and other apps on your phone. And for many of us, this includes photos of important documents such as passports, tax forms, tickets, and receipts that we would rather keep protected. Automatically find and secure these photos with SafePic.
Why SafePic?
SCAN AUTOMATICALLY FOR SENSITIVE PHOTOS: Automatically scan your photo library to uncover photos of potentially sensitive documents so you can secure or delete. Scan uses advanced, on-device machine learning and optical character recognition technology.
SECURE PHOTOS IN VAULT: Store and organize sensitive photos in a secure, encrypted vault directly on your device. Your photos are never sent to our servers. Photos can also be restored to your library or shared directly from the vault.
BYPASS PHOTO LIBRARY: Option for you to take photos and store directly in your secure vault, without ever being stored in your device’s photo library.
SHOW WHAT YOU WANT TO SHOW: For private photos that you don’t want to accidentally show, blur your photos when swiping through your photo library. Reveal the original, unblurred photo when you press and hold.
NSFW OPTION: Turn on an optional feature to scan for NSFW (not-suitable-for-work) photos.
