RoamPlan turns a road trip into a plan you can follow: an ordered route, a day by day itinerary, a fuel budget from your own car, and a packing list, all in one place and synced across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Build the route as a chain of stops. Enter the drive to reach each one and RoamPlan sums the legs into your total distance, adds a rough drive-time estimate, and keeps track of the nights at each stop.
WHAT YOU GET
- Route by legs: order your stops and see the distance and drive-time estimate for each leg, plus the whole-trip total
- Day by day: sketch each day with a title, a plan, and where you sleep
- Fuel budget: an estimate from your route distance, your car's efficiency, and the fuel price you enter, in metric or imperial
- Packing list: a checklist grouped by clothing, gear, documents, and more, with a progress bar so nothing gets left behind
- Must-see list: note the viewpoints and detours you want, mark each as must see, worth it, or if there is time, and check them off
- Expense log: log what you spend by category and see where the money goes on a clean chart, with a running total
- Across your devices: your trips sync through your own private iCloud on iPhone, iPad, and Mac
- Trip plan (Lifetime): a printable PDF of the whole trip, plus a CSV of every expense
A NOTE ON THE FUEL BUDGET
The fuel budget is an estimate. It multiplies your route distance by the efficiency and fuel price you enter. Real mileage changes with terrain, load, and traffic. Drive times are rough estimates from distance at a steady touring pace, not routed times.
FREE AND LIFETIME
Free includes one trip with up to five stops and every planning tool for it: the itinerary, the fuel budget, the packing list, the must-see list, the expense log, and the chart. Lifetime unlocks unlimited trips and stops, plus the PDF trip plan and the CSV export.
