Everything lives on your device first and works with no internet connection at all. While it automatically syncs privately via iCloud, you get the choice to export all of your data as a zip file to do with as you please. It's your choice. Redline Records doesn't contain dedicated timing hardware or act as a professional diagnostic tool. Every figure it reports (GPS speed, phone accelerometer G-force, OBD-II data) is a rough, honest indication, labelled as such throughout the app, obtained through the device sensors. What it does do is keep a serious, detailed, searchable record of your car, in one place, for as long as you own it. Perfect for every enthusiast.
