Sometimes you need to talk to someone who doesn't know you to really be understood.
Poemia is a safe, anonymous chat app that connects you with someone who actually listens — no judgment, no real names, no pressure, no limits.
1M+ people found someone who gets them. 560,000+ users. 17 languages. 180 regions.
HOW POEMIA WORKS
→ Pick your anonymous identity
Choose your avatar and your mood. You show up only as "anon-XXXX." No one knows who you are.
→ Message directly. No waiting for a match.
The thing that makes Poemia different: you don't have to wait for a match to happen. Send your first message directly to anyone who feels like they'd understand. One message can be the start of a conversation you've been waiting for.
→ Or match with a like
If you want a quieter start, send a heart. When the other person accepts, you match — and the conversation begins safely and mutually.
→ Share your anonymous story
Post a moment from your day — for a few hours or for a full 24. With your name or without. Whoever your story reaches can start a direct chat with you.
→ You control your identity
Stay anonymous as long as you want. And when you're ready — only then — you can reveal who you are to someone you trust. This step can't be undone, so choose the moment carefully.
