NaviFin is a native client for your own Jellyfin server, built separately for Apple TV, Mac, iPad and iPhone. It is video first, it plays what your library actually holds, and it asks nothing of you beyond your server address.
PLAYS ANYTHING
A hybrid engine pairs Apple's AVPlayer for pristine native playback with VLC for the exotic formats Jellyfin libraries are full of. MKV, HEVC, surround audio, embedded and external subtitles: NaviFin picks the right engine automatically so you just press play.
PROFILES FOR THE WHOLE HOUSE
Choose who is watching when the app opens, the way a television app should. Give every profile a face from sixteen built-in designs, or keep the picture already on your Jellyfin account. Pictures are stored on your server, so every device shows the same one, and a PIN can keep a profile to itself. Switching between people takes one tap and no password.
EVERYWHERE YOU WATCH
One purchase covers a true ecosystem app:
- Apple TV: a cinematic home with Continue Watching, Top Shelf, and a focus-native interface.
- Mac: a single-window app with a glass sidebar, in-window playback, keyboard shortcuts, and offline downloads.
- iPad and iPhone: an adaptive layout, Picture in Picture, AirPlay, and offline downloads.
MORE THAN A PLAYER
- Subtitle, audio track, and playback speed selection in the player.
- Skip Intro and Skip Credits, Next Up auto-advance, and trickplay scrubbing.
- Music: a full audio player with system Now Playing, lock screen, and background playback.
- Live TV with an EPG guide, channels, and recordings.
- Offline downloads on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, with watch-state sync back to your server.
- Home Screen and Mac widgets.
- SyncPlay: watch together, in sync, across devices.
- Kids Mode: a per-profile rating ceiling with a PIN to leave it.
YOURS, AND PRIVATE
NaviFin talks only to the Jellyfin server you point it at. No accounts with us, no tracking, no ads. It handles real-world setups: reverse proxies, custom access headers, mutual TLS, and self-signed servers on your own LAN.
One time price. No subscription. No in-app purchases.
NaviFin is an independent client and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Jellyfin project. A Jellyfin server is required.
