CBT Mastery - an educational reference navigator in cognitive behavioral therapy: concepts, clinical practices, protocols, and literature within a unified structured system for systematic understanding of the method.
The application does not replace comprehensive professional training, personal therapy, or supervision and is not a medical service.
For whom: students and CBT therapists in training and clinical practice; supervisors - as a tool for students’ independent work; anyone with a deep interest in psychology.
Inside:
30 key concepts of the cognitive model with definitions, clinical manifestations, common misconceptions, and questions for self-reflection; approaches and ideas of Beck, Wells, Clark, Barlow, Hofmann, and other authors.
80 clinical vignettes of varying complexity, including analysis of what is happening with the client, focal points for the therapist, CBT perspectives, possible interventions, common pitfalls, and supervisor questions.
10 core competencies of a CBT therapist - from case conceptualization and Socratic dialogue to behavioral experiments and session structure - with explanations of each skill’s significance, stages of development, practices, and exercises.
