Every step you take is a step through Middle-earth.
Lord of the Steps is a fantasy pedometer that turns your daily walking into an epic 2,865 km journey: from a cozy hole in the Shire all the way to the fires of Mount Doom.
HOW IT WORKS
The app counts your real steps via HealthKit or your phone's built-in pedometer. Every kilometer you walk advances you along a route through 18 iconic locations: Bree, Rivendell, Moria, Lothlórien, Helm's Deep, and more.
The landscape around you changes — 50 unique zones with scenic backgrounds reflect your real progress. You literally see the world transform with every step.

WHY LORD OF THE STEPS
Unlike regular pedometers, we give your steps meaning. These aren't just numbers — it's a journey you want to follow.
Group challenges add a competitive edge: invite friends via link and find out who walks the most.
The home screen widget shows your progress without opening the app — you always know where you are on the route.
PRIVACY
We don't collect your location data. The app only counts steps. No ads. No ad trackers.
