Letting Go is a calm app for owning less — built around one playful idea: the 30 Day Game.
THE 30 DAY GAME
Let go of one thing on day 1, two things on day 2, and see if you can last the month. Miss a day and the game is over — kindly, and everything you let go still counts. Play alone, or invite friends and compete over iCloud: everyone plays the same day, the standings update as you go, and whoever lasts longest wins. Join a game late and you'll owe a backlog — pay it down by letting go of extra.
SHOULD I KEEP THIS?
For the hard cases: five honest questions walk you from "have you used it lately?" to "would you buy it again today?" and end in a clear verdict. Three of the five exits tell you to keep it — this is not an app that wants your home empty.
WAIT FOR IT
Tempted to buy something? Don't say no — start a timer. Small wants wait 30 hours, bigger ones 30 days. Most desire quietly expires; the app keeps count of everything you didn't spend. And if you cave, there's an honest button for that too.
SIXTEEN RULES
The full playbook of decluttering rules — 90/90, 20/20, one-in-ten-out, and the rest — each explained with why it works and how to start.
YOUR RULES
Minimalism isn't strict rules — it's a good relationship with your things. Set your own seasonality window, your own "cheap enough to let go" limit, your own in/out ratio. You decide what brings value, joy, and meaning.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no ads, no tracking, no subscription — one payment, once. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. Shared games run between you and your friends through Apple's iCloud; none of it ever reaches us.
