The southern Chinese dialects (Cantonese, Hokkien, Wu and Hakka) they all don’t have these consonants. Over 45 million people speak Hakka Chinese natively throughout southern China, Taiwan and overseas. It is primarily spoken at home or between close friends. They speak the Common Chinese (Mandarin) when at school or doing business. This app gives you a taste of Hakka!
