Less filler, more Gist.
In a world of constant noise, Gist cuts through — a social app where thoughtful, curious people come to share and discover things that are genuinely worth your time. The experience is built around people who post with care and intention, providing recommendations, insights, and ideas across the things that matter most in everyday life.
■ Quality rises
Not everything that catches on is worth catching, and Gist is built around that distinction. The content that rises to the top of Gist is well thought out and rich in substance – what you find here has truly earned its place.
■ Trusted discovery
Quality earns attention on Gist, so the people here post things that are real and worth your time. What you find feels less like content and more like something a trusted friend would share with you.
■ Your interests, your feed
Browse what matters to you — Career, Money, Food, Culture, Travel, Wellness, Family, Beauty, Fashion, Relationships, Home, or Pets — and spend your time in the areas you actually care about.
■ Create your way
Post a video, share an image, start a discussion, or even write a long-form article! We encourage creativity in whatever way you want to express it.
■ Playground
Sharpen up with a daily set of puzzles and games that reward your curiosity as much as they entertain.
■ Gist Spark
For a limited time, Gist Spark is rewarding people who post thoughtful content with a $20 Amazon gift card. Learn more about Gist Spark in the app.
