Stop counting up and down your fretboard, trying to learn the notes on your guitar. Stop using patterns and shapes to identify your notes. I did for years and went through app after app in the hope something would help me. I couldn't find one that me "learn the fretboard cold" - as Steve Vai advises! - so I built my own and used it. Now I finally know all my notes. Become a Fret Master and FINALLY learn the notes of your fretboard - you won't regret it!
Get down the location of the note in your mind and then get it on your fretboard.
Fret Master challenges you, with your guitar to memorise the notes and if you really can't find the note - the app offers a gentle reminder. You'll find as you use the app that your memory of the location of the notes will really improve and your knowledge of the fretboard.
The app also tests your chord knowledge, knowledge of the Major and Minor Diatonic and Pentatonic scales, and Root notes for soloing - use the app however you wish to achieve your guitar journey goals!
Each test offers handy visual reminders should your memory need a prompt.
Make Fret Master part of your practice sessions!
