Dot. is a dating and community app for adult lesbian, bisexual and queer women. We're here to help you connect more safely, and more like yourself.
■ A profile that feels like you
- Add up to 6 photos, plus a bio, interests, lifestyle and MBTI.
- Keep up to 3 photos private and share them only with the people you choose in chat.
- Blur any part of a photo you'd rather not show.
- Need a break? Pause your profile whenever you like.
■ Discover people your way
- Swipe through profiles that fit your preferences and send a LIKE to anyone who catches your eye.
- Browse shows nearby, newly joined and popular members at a glance.
- Swiped too fast? Rewind brings a profile back.
- Fine-tune the distance filter to see people within your range.
■ Chats that open when it's mutual
- When you both send a LIKE, it's a match and a private 1:1 chat opens.
- Want to say hi before you match? Send a dot message. If they reply, the conversation continues.
- If someone shares their profile ID with you, you can request a chat without a match.
■ An anonymous community
- Talk freely on anonymous boards for everyday chat, dating, advice, meetups and more.
- Age-group boards from 20s to 50s+ are open only to members of that age group.
- Boards for the city you live in and for your interests connect you with people near you and people who share your hobbies.
- Community posts are shared with members who live in the same country as you.
- Photos in posts can disappear automatically after 5 minutes to 1 hour.
- Hit it off in the comments? Send a match request. If it's declined, the sender isn't notified.
■ Privacy and safety
- Dot. is for women aged 19 and over. Every member verifies their identity at sign-up — outside Korea, with a government-issued photo ID and a live selfie check.
- FACE verification uses a live face check to confirm you match your profile photos, then adds a FACE badge to your profile.
- Screenshots and screen recordings are restricted to help protect photos and chats.
- Distance is shown only as an approximate range, and you can lock the app with a PIN or biometrics.
- You can block and report anyone who impersonates others, uses hate speech, harasses or asks for money.
■ Dot. Premium
- Dot.'s core matching and community features are free to use.
- Premium lets you see who liked you and adds unlimited LIKEs, advanced filters, Private Mode and chat read receipts.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account, and you can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store settings.
■ App permissions
Optional permissions can be declined; some features may be limited without them.
- Notifications: for matches, messages and service updates.
- Camera: for taking photos and FACE verification.
- Photos: for profile photos and sharing photos in the app.
- Location: for finding people nearby.
- Contacts: used only to hide people you know. Your contacts are not stored or shown to other members.
