DoomRSS is the news reader you didn't know you needed.
Swipe up. Read. Move on. That's it.
Built for people who want to stay informed without drowning in tabs, notifications, and clickbait. DoomRSS pulls your RSS feeds together into a single, scrollable stream — like a social feed, but for real news.
-- HOW IT WORKS --
Every article gets its own full-screen card. Swipe up to go to the next one. Swipe down to go back. The moment you swipe past an article, it's marked as read and won't bother you again.
New articles are fetched in the background and added to the end of your queue — so you always finish what you started before getting to what's new.
-- ON-DEVICE AI SUMMARY --
DoomRSS fetches the full content of each article and uses Apple Intelligence to generate a clean, plain-text summary — right on your device. No data leaves your phone. No subscriptions. No servers.
-- YOUR FEEDS, YOUR RULES --
Start with 90+ curated RSS feeds across 11 categories — Technology, Science, Sports, Finance, Health, Travel, Entertainment and more. Or add any RSS feed URL you want. Validate, save, done.
Read state and feeds sync across all your devices via iCloud — so you never read the same article twice, even when switching between iPhone and iPad.
-- BUILT FOR FOCUS --
• Full-screen cards — no clutter, just content
• Auto-hiding Liquid Glass navigation bar
• Dark theme throughout
• Offline support — read what you have, sync when back online
• Articles expire after 2 days to keep your queue fresh
• Configurable refresh interval — 1h, 3h, 6h, 12h or 24h
DoomRSS is for people who read.
