Never forget a dance step again.
Dance Notes is the personal journal built for ballroom dancers. Whether you're a leader or follower, capture every move, pattern, and technique immediately after class — before the details fade.
Take notes the way dancers think
Organize by style, category, and dance. Add bullet notes for each move, then drill down with step-by-step detail notes underneath. Everything stays exactly where you need it.
Link your class videos
Record a video during class, then link it directly to the specific dance step it shows. Tap a note and your video plays instantly — the perfect reference when you're practicing at home.
Built for how you dance
Choose your role — Leader or Follower — and configure the styles you actually study: American Smooth, American Rhythm, International Standard, or International Latin. Add new dances as your repertoire grows.
Share with your dance partner
Export any dance's notes as a simple text code and send it to your partner. They import it in seconds, with no duplicates and no accounts required.
Stays with you
Everything lives on your device. No subscriptions, no cloud accounts, no internet required. Dark and light mode included.
Supported styles include:
American Smooth · American Rhythm · International Standard · International Latin · Plus any custom styles you add
