crushedwithit is the writing room, the rehearsal room and the stage, for stand-up comics who work on their material.
WRITE, AND KNOW WHY IT WORKS
Answer questions about your own life and the app finds the premises hiding in the answers. Every line it helps you write comes with its reasoning: the mechanism, the assumption the setup plants, and the word the laugh hangs on. A line without that reasoning is not saved. The editor flags a laugh line that does not end on its punch word.
BRING WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE
Import years of notes from Apple Notes, Google Keep or a text file. Everything is sorted into answers, premises and jokes, and you see each one before anything is kept. Record a voice note on the drive home and it is transcribed on your device.
REHEARSE THE WAY YOU PERFORM
Flashcards that hide the lines you lean on. A voice run that listens as you say the set out loud and marks the punch words you fumbled. A prompter that follows your voice while you film yourself, on your own device.
ON STAGE
Big type on black, your set list and a light timer. Your Apple Watch follows along on your wrist: the bit you are on, the clock to the light with a tap when it comes, and a thumb up or down for each joke.
WHAT THE ROOM ACTUALLY DID
Record the set and the app listens to the room, on your device: where the laughs came, how long they ran, which line earned them, and where the silences opened. Afterwards you get the show joke by joke, and a Show Report you can send.
YOUR DOUBLE AND REELS (STAGE AND ULTRA)
Pass a face check, film yourself once, and your double performs your bits as short reels. Tap Double on Home, or plan a reel in a chat and see the price before anything is made. Build your double's voice from your own recordings. Reels show an AI label and carry Content Credentials. A five-second clip of you goes to our video partner, BytePlus, and is deleted when you delete your double. Private Mic shares a reel through a seven-day link and shows you where people laughed.
SERIES AND PROMOTION
Start a podcast, explainer or dating-profile series from a template, every episode in the same look. The promotion pack makes posters, feed and story pictures, a thumbnail and release messages from an episode's reel.
POST AND SCHEDULE
Post a reel or pack picture to LinkedIn now, or schedule it on Ultra, even with your phone off. Instagram is coming soon.
MEDIA
Keep pictures, videos and sounds for your reels, with the rights confirmed for each file.
EVERY DEVICE YOU OWN
iPhone for the stage, iPad for the desk and the prompter, Mac as the writing room, Apple Watch on your wrist. Your material syncs through your private iCloud; one subscription covers all four.
YOUR MATERIAL IS ALWAYS YOURS
Your library lives on your device and in your private iCloud. Transcription and laugh detection run on the device. Text you ask for help with goes to our AI writing provider, Anthropic, which does not train on it. Files you add to Media are kept on our server until you delete them. There are no ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics. If your subscription lapses, everything you wrote stays readable, editable, exportable and performable, and Stage mode and flashcards keep working.
