Blur faces and number plates in your photos and videos — automatically, and entirely on your device.
Open a photo or video and Redact finds every face and number plate for you, then blurs, pixelates, or covers them with a black bar, emoji, or sticker. Nothing is ever uploaded. No cloud, no account, no tracking — your images never leave your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

• Nothing collected — no analytics, no accounts, no data leaves your device

PRIVACY BY DESIGN
Redact is built for people who take privacy seriously — journalists, photographers, researchers, and anyone sharing images of others. Because everything runs locally, it works on a plane, in the field, anywhere — and there is simply no server for your images to leak from.
REDACT PRO
Redact is free to use, with photo export in full resolution and no watermark. Upgrade to Pro to unlock every effect and sticker pack, and to export video in full resolution, without the length limit and without the "Made with Redact" badge. Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. One purchase covers iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of that period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
